24th February 2016, Air Iceland´s first Dash 8 Q400 arriving to Reykjavik airport. They did a nice lowpass. This is the first of three Q400 aircraft to arrive to phase out the vintage Fokker 50 that has been in service for domestic airline Air Iceland from 1992. Before the F50, Air Iceland (Flugfélag Íslands) had Fokker 27 since 1965. Air Iceland has also had Dash 8 -200 since 2006.
Join Katharina and Benny from German Hahn Air during their delivery flight of a Citation Sovereign aircraft from Cessna's Wichita facilities to the airline's main base in Düsseldorf, Germany. All the information you need to know before flying WOW air. Iceland based WOW air started flights from the US and Canada to Europe in 2015. This summer, I flew on WOW air from San Francisco to Paris. This is my review of the airline and stopover in Keflavik, Reykjavik's airport. Please thumb up if you find this video helpful. Thanks!
Takeoff from runway 11 at Iceland's Reykjavik Keflavik Airport (KEF / BIKF) - bound for Dublin, aboard a WOW Air Airbus A320. Quite a wet morning in Iceland. The Flybus from Keflavik (KEF) airport to Reykjavik is incredible easy to use. It's really easy transportation from the airport. I share my experience using the afforadble, comfortable transfer in my Flybus review. They even dropped me off and picked me up minutes from my hotel. Reykjavik Excursions Flybus is a great choice for any trip to Iceland.
